Q: What part of New York City do you serve?
A: We serve Manhattan and the outer boroughs. If you live outside of the metro area, contact us and we can see if we can find a babysitter in your immediate area.
Q: How do I sign up and get started?
A: Fill out an application form and we will contact you within in 24 hours to schedule an interview with you and your family. We like to get to know the families we work with so we can make sure we are providing you with the exact type of babysitter your child needs.
Q: How does your service work?
A: After you decide to join Mini More, you may contact us any time with babysitting needs. We will set you up with a sitter for the first time, based upon the specific needs your child has. After the first babysitting session, you can request the same babysitter or ask for a new one.
Q: How are your sitters different than a regular sitting service?
A: All of our sitters are either working towards a degree in special education or have experience working with children with special needs. We believe that only these types of sitters can truly qualify to take care of your children. We also do background checks on all of our sitters to make sure that your children are left in safe hands.
Q: Do your sitters provide diagnoses or therapies?
A: No. Our sitters are simply that---sitters. They are there to take care of your child, but cannot provide diagnoses or therapies.
Q: Do you require a certain amount of time for a sitting appointment?
A: Yes, we require a three-hour commitment for each sitting session.
Q: Can we request a sitter?
A: We understand that consistency and routine is very important for your child. We will do our best to accommodate all sitter requests.
Q: How do I pay for a sitter?
A: The credit card you have on file with us will be charged directly. At the end of each month you will receive an invoice via email, detailing all of the babysitting sessions you received.
